Remediation of Contaminated Soil, 2021

The area was developed for residential purposes, with a new residential building constructed on the site. Approximately 1,000 tons of mildly contaminated soil were removed from the area. Soil contaminated with oil hydrocarbons from old emergency power generators was detected and remediated during construction. Any contaminants that may have remained in the ground near the boundary between the target property and the property to the west were marked using a warning structure placed on the other side of the sheet pile wall.
