Pohjatekniikka was proud to be part of the ambitious and challenging reconstruction project of the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki. The project involved massive excavation works, particularly near the Stadium tower and underneath existing structures, making it exceptionally demanding. Temporary supports were also installed for ongoing pillars, allowing excavation around the stadium’s periphery. Additionally, new facilities were built, including a multi-purpose hall and a weightlifting gym, totaling 20,000 square meters. The project required extensive collaboration with experts from various fields to ensure both structural integrity and functional efficiency of the stadium’s systems. <\/p>\n\n
